  1. Jan 05,  · I'm trying to put together my ideal comp of early (circa to ) T-Rex, including the best tracks from 'T-Rex' (s/t) and 'Bolan Boogie'. Already using the Castle 'T-Rex', but wondering where to look for the best sounding CDs of the Bolan Boogie material, so any suggestions would be welcome. The tracklist is: 1. Beltane Walk 2.

  3. "Raw Ramp," a five-minute rock opera buried on the back of "Get It On," too, bristles with dynamism -- it opens gently, lavish strings and sad ballad sweet, pauses for a moment, then returns as a shuffling blues putdown ("you think you're champ, but girl, you ain't nothing but a raw ramp" -- whatever that may be), then concludes with a heads-down electric askemolaluacassoadongvimembgreasam.co: $

  5. This was the first askemolaluacassoadongvimembgreasam.co vinyl I bought in the early 70's, then like a fool, I sold it for more 'important' vinyl (money were tight in them days). So 40 odd years later, I've finally replaced it on CD. It remains a brilliant compilation, covering the transformation from Tyrannosaurus Rex to askemolaluacassoadongvimembgreasam.co, with Bolan /5(33).

  6. Jul 04,  · Where is a good source to get a CD/digital version of the intro/"There Was A Time"? I have the old Castle CD Bolan Boogie on its way but think it only has Raw Ramp/Electric Boogie missing that intro/"There Was A Time" part. Could someone confirm if the Bolan Boogie disc has the full version with "There Was a Time" or not. I don't have mine yet.

  8. In , Bolan appeared in the musical documentary film about T. Rex “Born to Boogie”, filmed by Ringo Starr. In addition to the T. Rex concert, the film features footage shot at the John Lennon Mansion and a musical number with T. Rex, supplemented by Ringo Starr on the second percussion and Elton John on the piano.
