  2. The box of CDs was advertised as "very good" condition but was indistinguishable from NEW in every regard. The price was unparalleled. With around 12 hours of music this collection must cover just about everything Artie Shaw recorded. Audio quality is very good but some tracks may be lighter on bass than other, more expensive single disc /5(76).

  7. This album is really good, and the songs have been digitally remastered beautifully – great quality sound! They have placed a great selection of Artie Shaw’s music on this album, but what is amazing about the album and Artie Shaw are the other great musicians that were in his bands (ie: “Hot Lips” Page, Billy Butterfield, Billie Holiday, Lena Horne, Buddy Rich, George Arus, Skitch /5(89).
